Razah Townsend is a 6-foot-3, 230-pound edge rusher from East Kentwood High School in Grand Rapids, Mich.

On why he chose Western Michigan University:

"It just felt like home really loved being there a great place to be. The practice facilities, locker room, team room, it was really like just the love I got from everyone it’s been the same love sense my freshman year."

On why he wasn't more heavily recruited:

"To be honest I have no idea. I wasn’t going to sit and wait for a Big 10 or a ACC (offer) because they could’ve offered me already but Western offered me a couple months back and never stopped showing love sense then so that’s where I felt home was."

On what he brings to the WMU football team:

"My athletic abilities with my size and my speed on the defensive line."

Jack Parker is a 6-foot-5, 230-pound tight end from Loyola Academy High School in Wilmette, Ill.

On why he chose Western Michigan University:

"There’s nothing to dislike. Great coaches, great facilities, and a great place to be. I love their core values as well. It’s a great school and I’m excited to be a Bronco."

On what he brings to the WMU football team:

"Skill can be improved on. I think that naturally my physicality can’t be taught. That’s the skill that I have over route running and stuff like that. Not being scared to hit can’t be taught."

Parker also had offers from the likes of Central Michigan, Illinois State, West Point and Northern Iowa.

CJ Hester is a 5-foot-11, 185 pound running back from Wyoming High School in Cincinnati.

On why he chose Western Michigan University:

"It felt like family. I love every part of WMU."

On what he brings to the WMU football team:

"The thing that helps me a lot is my blocking and being able to run inside and outside . I can be able to catch as a wide receiver. I can be a big help in the Western Michigan offense at the next level. One thing I feel like that separates me from others is that I am a “every-down” back. I’m just blessed to be a Bronco and be a part of this family."

On what Bronco fans can expect from him:

"I can’t wait to get to Kalamazoo to become a pillar of the community and to keep both trophies in Kalamazoo tell the fans to get ready because I can’t wait to show them what I’ve worked my entire life to become a house hold name at a Division 1 program on and off the field and to lead WMU to the MAC championship and hopefully be victorious each time. Also beat Chips"

Hester also had offers from the likes of Toledo, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Buffalo and Eastern Michigan.
