Western Michigan vs. Maryland-Eastern Shore
Brian Persky: Although I think it will be tougher than a lot of people expect, Maryland-Eastern Shore is a game that the Broncos should win. The Hawks do have some size on the interior but are not nearly as deep of a team as Western Michigan. I expect this one to stay close for a little while, but the Broncos bench and depth will eventually outplay and outlast a slightly less talented UMES squad.
Score Prediction: Western Michigan 72, Maryland-Eastern Shore 60
D.J. Duckett: The Hawks have struggled to a 0-3 start and I don't see them gaining any momentum against Western Michigan. I see this being sort of a mismatch with WMU's athleticism. I see the Broncos handling this one well, and getting a good victory. I would like to see some of the freshman make strides towards solidifying their playing time in this game. The sooner one of them can step up and have a real impact on this team, the better off WMU will be this season.
Score Prediction: Western Michigan 69, Maryland-Eastern Shore 53
David James: UMES is picked second to last in the historically weak MEAC, and should be a very winnable game for Western Michigan.
Score Prediction: Western Michigan 77, Maryland-Eastern Shore 62
Brandon Fitzsimons: The easiest game of the tournament in my opinion. WMU should take care of business and walk away with a great experience from this fairly tough tournament.
Score Prediction: Western Michigan 69, Maryland-Eastern Shore 56
