"[The visit] went very well. It was nice to meet a lot of the commits in the class so it's not awkward when we're all together in training camp ... got to hang out with the coaches, too. I had a basketball game so I came down late Friday and stayed all day Saturday. On Saturday, we had breakfast and I met with a business advisor since I want to major in Business, toured the campus and saw all the dorms. We had dinner in the Radisson and it was awesome. We all went bowling which was a lot of fun, too."
Justin Tranquill, Cornerback, Fort Wayne, Ind.
"The official this weekend was everything I could ask for and more! It was an awesome opportunity to get the chance to spend time with the other commits and the players on the team. I got to experience campus life, see more facilities, see other parts of campus and the things that Kalamazoo has to offer."
Sam Beal, Athlete, Grand Rapids, Mich.
"It was the best time ever! My host was Asantae Brown ... for a memorable moment it was the night at dinner. Everyone stood up and said what they were bringing to the WMU team. Also, hanging out with the recruits and future teammates."
Cario Davison, Safety, Galion, Ohio
"Oh man, it was FUN! The players were cool and the town was great. The food was even better, though! [My host was] Austin Guido, pretty cool guy! [A memorable moment was] balling on some fools at the bowling alley, probably! [Laughs] It was pretty great. Nope, [I'm not a good bowler], but just playing with the coaches and commits was really fun. Paul Engram was terrible [at bowling], it was funny watching him. but the clown of our class is definitely [Justin] Tranquill! Dude is a character for sure."
Anton Curtis, Athlete, Detroit, Mich.
"It went great, had a great time with all the commits and current players. [My host was] Corey Davis. I would say [a memorable moment was] how much the team is together. At most schools you would see only certain people hang with certain people. At Western everyone was together and it was just a huge brotherhood."
Alex Grace, Athlete, Saginaw, Mich.
"The official visit was awesome. I absolutely loved it. I got to know a lot of the other recruits and a lot of the guyts that are on the team. I can't wait to be there, I felt like I've built a great relationship with everybody at Western. I just look forward to being there in June."
Obbie Jackson, Cornerback, West Bloomfield, Mich.
"It went well, I loved it. My host was Kendrick Roberts and my favorite moments were when the team went bowling and when coach Fleck made us all introduce ourselves and tell what we were bringing to the table at WMU."
John Keenoy, Offensive lineman, East Kentwood, Mich.
"Yeah I did [get to meet up with all the recruits]. My roommate [Tom Flacco] was a host so I was around the recruits a lot. I am with [Kadeem Goulbourne] a lot. He's always with Tom and I, whether it's to get food or just chill. We all got a pretty good chemistry."
