Cubit gets his QB

Two nights after picking up commitment number one from offensive lineman Matt Sinclair of Indiana, Western Michigan has a second on board. South Lyon (Mich.) East quarterback Cameron Thomas committed to play football at WMU last night, giving head coach Bill Cubit and the Broncos their QB for the class of 2013.
Thomas had been waiting to see if Wisconsin would offer after an impressive performance at their camp, but decided Wednesday evening that he had waited long enough and was happy to be a Bronco.

The 6-foot-4, 185 pound signal caller also had offers from Bowling Green and Central Michigan and was considered by MichiganPreps.com to be the second ranked quarterback in the state. Rivals.com gave him a 5.4 rating, the highest two-star rating available.
BroncoBlitz.com will have more on this commitment following an interview with Thomas this evening.
