Boles, Celiscar and Davis honored by Phil Steele

Phil Steele Publications announced its annual all-conference teams and three Broncos made the list. Travonte Boles, Donald Celiscar and Corey Davis were named Phil Steele All-Mid-American Conference.
The trio were also named All-MAC by the conference as well. Davis and Boles earned second team according to Phil Steele, while Celiscar was named third team.

Boles started all 12 games on the defensive line and ranked fifth on the team with 60 tackles. He had 5.0 TFLs, 1.5 sacks, his second career interception, one pass break up and a blocked kick against Central Michigan.
Celiscar shared the team lead with three interceptions and ranked second with nine pass break ups. His 12 passes defended was second to only Ronald Zamort's 18, which ranks fifth in the nation. Celiscar racked up 60 tackles (34 solo) in 2013, including 1.5 tackles for loss. He also added a spark on special teams, leading the team with a 21.8-yard average on 13 kick returns.
Davis, who was also named MAC Freshman of the Year and College Football News Freshman All-America, started in all 11 games played in 2013. He led all freshmen wide receivers in the FBS in receptions (67), receiving yards (941), TDs (6), receiving yards per game (85.5), and 100-yard receiving games (5). Davis set WMU freshman records in receiving yards and 100-yard games, sharing the record with teammate Wilson for receptions.
