Bezerra and Brown enroll early

High school seniors (TE) Lucas Bezerra and (ATH) Asantay Brown have graduated early, and enrolled for classes during the spring semester at Western Michigan University.
The two were originally recruited with the 2014 recruiting class, however they'll officially become members of the 2013 class and be eligible to participate in spring practices.

Both Bezerra and Brown figure to make an immediate impact as true freshmen next season. Bezerra will play tight end for the Broncos and Brown projects to play in the defensive backfield in all likelihood.
Bezerra chose Western Michigan over offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Indiana, and South Florida. After a solid senior campaign, Bezerra began receiving more interest from other Big Ten schools like Wisconsin, who made a strong last minute push for the 6-foot-6 bruising tight end.
Brown held offers from Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, and Minnesota. Similar to Bezerra, Brown received wide spread interest from around the MAC and the Big Ten after a breakout senior season. In the end, Brown declined other offers and stuck by his pledge to the Broncos. He also played at Muskegon Mona Shores H.S. with close friend and 2015 WMU target Tyree Jackson, who's made several visits to Kalamazoo with Brown.
The Broncos are expected to sign 26 more players on National Signing Day on Wednesday, February 5, 2014.
