WMU lands Indiana ATH

Western Michigan University received a verbal commitment Wednesday evening from Bluffton (Ind.) athlete D'Wayne Eskridge.
With the commitment from Eskridge, the Broncos are adding to their element that head coach P.J. Fleck really covets: speed. Eskridge can really fly and carries the load at the running back spot for Bluffton High School's spread offense attack. Eskridge racked up over 1,100 yards on the ground and scored 16 total touchdowns as a junior.

He shows good patience but tremendous burst and change of direction. However, he's being recruited as an athlete and there's a chance he could end up on the defensive side of the football. He plays mostly running back for Bluffton, but also sees snaps as a safety.
The Broncos offered Eskridge on Monday during his visit to Kalamazoo, and the 5-foot-10, 190-pounder chose Western over an offer from Ball State.
BroncoBlitz.com will have more on Ekridge in the coming days.
