Staff Predictions

Brian Persky: Last year, it was the Eagles who clinched the MAC West on the Broncos' home floor. This year, I think the guys are hungry for a reversal of fortunes. For that reason alone, I'm going with WMU.

Score Prediction: Western Michigan 63, Eastern Michigan 55

D.J. Duckett: EMU is always a tough team to play, but WMU handled the zone well last time. If they can shoot well from the perimeter, and mix in some zone busting cuts to the hoop, I see the Broncos doing well. I see a victory in WMU's future.

Score Prediction: Western Michigan 65, Eastern Michigan 59

David James: Eastern Michigan has given the Broncos plenty of problems the past couple of years, but the Eagles aren't playing their best basketball of late. As long as WMU can keep their focus in the quiet Convocation Center, this should be a win.

Score Prediction: Western Michigan 56, Eastern Michigan 48
