Nairn: 'Michigan State fits me well'

Lourawls Nairn will begin the process of selecting a program from finalists Michigan State, Indiana, Minnesota, and Oklahoma upon his return from his final official visit next Sunday.

"I don't have a timetable, or a schedule, but I want to get it over with soon," said Nairn, whose next stop is Bloomington. "I don't want to rush it, but it is probably going to be sometime during the week after I get back from my last visit."

Tom Izzo's program is a contender for the signature of the Rivals150 (No. 61) point guard after emerging as a surprise finalist last week.

"Michigan State fits me well," said Nairn. "I look at the position the same way Coach Izzo does. He wants his point guard to be tough and provide leadership. Those are the two biggest strengths of my game. I am tough and I lead."
