Although Stockbridge, Ga. defensive back Kendarius Webster didn't participate at the Florida State camp, he was still impressed with his visit. The 'Noles do not have a lot of spots left when it comes to adding more dynamic players in their secondary, but the three star prospect is high on their list. The feeling is mutual, apparently.
"I loved everything. The facilities, the campus, it's just a great place to be," Webster said. "I really liked the new indoor facility because in Tallahassee it can get really hot or it rain, so to have that now and you can control the heat is a great.
Webster had previously had Ole Miss as his leader, but after his FSU visit, that may no longer be the case.
"I like FSU better now. They are my No. 1 school and I can see myself being a 'Nole. I felt very comfortable there," said the No. 58 ranked corner in the nation.
During his visit to FSU, Webster hung out with FSU players and even had a chance to speak to FSU commitment, Kain Daub.
"I talked with Kain Daub, Jamies Winston and Ronald Darby. Kain just told me it's a great place to be and we can make some things happen if we get a great class and a BCS championship ring," said Webster. "Jameis and Ronald are both cool people to kick it with - great people to work with on and off the field."
Webster also got a chance to bond with arguably his favorite coach at Florida State, Jeremy Pruitt.
"That guy Coach Pruitt is a mess. He's a great coach and a great person. It would be my pleasure to play in his defense and part of defensive back nation," he said. "Coach Pruitt told me it's a great place to compete. He's preparing every player for the NFL and every player doesn't mind competing for their spot. He also talked about character."
