Injury can't slow Scott

Of all of Syracuse's 22 signings from the class of 2006, no one had as disappointing of a finish to their season than Roosevelt (Md.) cornerback Nico Scott. Playing quarterback for Roosevelt, Scott had led his squad to a 6-1 mark by Halloween with playoff aspiration spread throughout the community. Then, in a freak practice accident, the 5-foot-9, 171-pound athlete broke his throwing hand and Roosevelt went on to lose their last three ballgames. Now, three months later, just how is Scott's right hand healing?
